The Association accepts qualified company to apply as「Ordinary Member」, 「Associate Member」, or 「Information Service Member」.

「Ordinary Member」

i.The company must be registered in Hong Kong according to the “Business Registration Ordinance”.

ii.The company must have a principal business in “gemstone industry”, which including production or trade of precious stones, pearls, diamonds, jade and jewellery, business related products or jewellery, etc.

「Associate Member」

i.The company must be registered outside Hong Kong or they can be from Mainland China with legal & valid business registration.

ii.The company must have a principal business in “gemstone industry”, which including production or trade of precious stones, pearls, diamonds, jade and jewellery, business related products or jewellery, etc.

「Information Service Member」

i. The company must be registered with legal & valid business registration.

ii. The company must have a principal business in relation to gemstone manufacturing industry providing trading and supporting services to the industry.

「Ordinary Member」

i.Members can use all facilities provided by the Association.

ii.Members can enjoy all benefits and welfare provided by the Association.

iii.Members have the priority or special privilege in the participation of the exhibitions and delegations organized by the Association.

iv.Members can receive the business information issued by the Association.

v.Members have the rights to be elected and to vote.

「Associate Member」

i.Members can use all facilities provided by the Association.

ii.Members can enjoy all benefits and welfare provided by the Association.

iii. Members have the priority or special privilege in the participation of the exhibitions and delegations organized by the Association.

iv. Members can receive the business information issued by the Association.

v. Members can attend the Annual General Meeting with no voting right. Members are also not eligible to elect or be elected as member of General Committee.

vi. Members are eligible to be appointed as member of Vice President or Executive Committee.

「Information Service Member」

i.Members can use all facilities provided by the Association.

ii.Members can enjoy all benefits and welfare provided by the Association.

iii.Members can participate the exhibitions and delegations organized by the Association.

iv.Members can receive the business information issued by the Association.

a.All members must pay the Enrollment Fee (EF) and Annual Membership Fee (AMF) on time. The EF and AMF of 「Ordinary Member」and 「Associate Member」are HK$6,000 & HK$3,000 respectively. The EF and AMF of「Information Service Member」is HK$3,000 & HK$1,500 respectiverly.

b.All members shall abide by the regulations of the Association.
